When I got my medusa piercing, I was still living in Holland and my friend Inês came to visit. We decided to get some micro-dermals at Queen of Rings, but the piercer advised agaisnt the placement we chose, so we walked around the store for a couple of minutes, trying to decide on a new placement. Suddenly one of us made a remark on getting a medusa, and we decided it was a good idea, so we went ahead and got them done. We took pictures of the process and after it was done, we went for milkshakes. We also tried not to laugh because it hurt, and the harder we tried, the more we laughed.
There was a lot of swelling and we looked like ducks, in my case there was also a lot of redness.
After the swelling went down, I went to the store to get smaller jewellery. This is when I changed from 1.6 to 1.2mm. They fitted me with a straight barbell that ended up giving me trouble. After waking up with massive swelling two days after, I ran to Tattoo Mario in Dordrecht, where I was given a curved barbel which was big enough to accommodate the swelling. The swelling went down and I never had any other problems with it.
It’s currently my favourite piercing, Inês actually lost hers during a dental procedure, and so we are going to get it re-pierced soon, I’m planning to get my nostrils done on that occasion :D

I got both nipples done at the same time at Queen of Rings in Rotterdam. I remember being amused when I went in, said I wanted my nipples pierced, they asked which side and I replied “BOTH.”
I was super nervous and the girl said something like “You have to calm down or I won’t pierce you”. She wasn’t really nice but she did it so fast and it went great, so I’m not at all bothered by her not being nice to me. I did make a little sound with each piercing, but I think it was more the scare than the actual pain. My nipples hurt after for the whole day I think, and I had some bleeding from both, like a drop of blood going down each nipple.
It was really cold but I still walked out with my coat unbuttoned, I was actually feeling warm and a bit in shock. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I was a total wimp about it haha
I babied them a lot, but I ended up getting a small boil on my right nipple that still comes and goes. It’s always giving me problems, this all started because the bars I was given at the start were a little on the small side.
Whenever I get this little boil (I can tell it’s there before it becomes visible), I start treating it with hot compresses and it goes away before actually becoming an issue. But it is annoying to deal with it. It doesn’t help that my right boob is always getting more action, and people can never remember WHICH BOOB NOT TO TOUCH AS MUCH.

But yes, that is the story of my nipple piercings. Pretty uneventful, except for the couple of times something got caught on them (like a towel or a shower loofa) but THANKFULLY I never has any major problems. Also, I totally put up a picture of my boobs. Topless Tuesday?

This was pretty uneventful. I worked at customer support at the time, over the phone, so I made sure I had almost 3 weeks off work for this. Which was a good idea, I was speaking like a total retard for about a week, then still retarded for the second, and it only got acceptable on the 3rd week.
It was the best piercing in terms of pain, I didn’t feel any pain but I felt the coldness of the needle going through my tongue.
Healing is a whole other story. This was the most annoying piercing to heal. You want to eat? TOO BAD! YOU CAN’T. Juices and cold soups for a week, bro.
It healed up fast and with no problems, it made everyone laugh their asses off every time I spoke for a while, and now I’m thinking of stretching this too.
